When it comes to quality, we often fail to determine what it looks like (and for whom), and try to measure the immeasurable because we forget to ask the right questions. In this keynote, we will remind ourselves of our core trio: risk analysis, test design, and systems thinking.

Irja Straus is a passionate quality consultant who helps teams build confidence in their work through modern testing and quality engineering practices. With over 15 years of experience across industries including SaaS, CPaaS, robotics, AI, and U.S. healthcare, she brings both technical depth and a holistic understanding of software quality.
Interestingly, Irja’s journey with Testival started long before this keynote. She first joined our community during the early days of the Zagreb Software Testing Club (STC)—you can even find her in our Zagreb STC #9 recap and her first talk at STC #18. It’s a joy to welcome her back—this time on stage as our keynote speaker!
