#1 Doroteja Držaić (Q) - Mobile Application Testing - Emulators vs. Real-Device Testing

Software systems are rapidly developing and getting more complex all the time. Handling a large number of options and interactions increases the importance of a comprehensive testing strategy that includes real devices, emulators, simulators and the right testing framework. Doroteja will discuss challenges testers are facing in mobile app testing and what types of mobile app testing are performed. She will present the advantages of emulators and real devices for mobile apps testing. After a short presentation and discussion, there is going to be an interactive demo with a demonstration of mobile app testing on real devices and emulators.

#2 Karlo Šmid (Tentamen) - Self Verifying Data

Software testers are responsible for creating test data. They can do it manually or using testing tools, but it is their responsibility. Here we explain the concept of self-verifying data oracle. The talk is aligned with the Black Box Software Testing Foundations course (BBST) designed by Rebecca Fiedler, Cem Kaner, and James Bach.
