Regular talks (10-30 minutes)

#1 Dario Đurić, Altima d.o.o.: Testing Web Components (18:15-18:45)

Web components are a set of features currently being standardized by W3C that will allow creation of custom elements and tags on HTML pages. Most of the web component features are already supported in all major browsers, and libraries such as Google’s Polymer make working with web components a lot easier, by providing helper utilities and polyfills for features that are not yet supported. This talk will focus on Polymer, specifically the testing aspect of it and how it helps testing web components.

#2 Marko Elezović, Head of Technology at Oradian Ltd.: Concurrent integration testing (18:50-19:20)

As test suites grow larger, having only a couple CPUs invested in getting the job done gets old pretty fast. But, synchronizing cross-process and cross-database testing is not something that’s readily available in most testing frameworks. This talk will showcase a way to enabled parallelism in integration testing, distributing the workload across databases and multiple JVMs running Scala (think Java).

#3 Marko Varat, Repsly Inc: UX Testing - Product Development Sanity Check (19:25-19:55)

Product design and development is an exciting journey full of trials and errors. As on every journey, there is a great possibility of the wrong turn which results in a drop of engagement or even churns. This is why UX testing or sanity check is a necessary part of the product development process.
